Cast Iron Real Estate

Brand Identity

Creative Direction & Design

Cast Iron Real Estate is a Real Estate boutique based in Soho, NYC. They came to me amist the economic crisis wanting to stand out more in a struggling market. Since their start in 1999 they had been using the same identity and website and felt that it did not accurately represent them. The wanted to communicate a more approachable look rather than the outdated corporate one they had been using. They wanted their brand to reflect the neighborhood they have been in since the start as well as the energy of NYC. In short, they wanted to proyect a modern, sophisticated yet approachable look.

We began with the development of a brand new website equipped with a custom back end that would allow them to update their listings easily. Jairo Criollo was brought on board to photograph the buildings, offices, retail spaces and apartments that made up their portfolio. Their logo was left intact by request yet the look and feel of Cast Iron was completely revamped.

Following the completion of the website we developed a brochure, marketing folder, and stationary to continue communicating their story.

"Catalina Garcia has become a dear friend and someone who I trust completely especially when it comes down to graphic design and art direction. Having met Catalina a little over 2 years ago she was vital in two very huge areas of our business and its identity. She redesigned our outdated website and produced the marketing materials for our boutique real estate company based in Soho, NYC.

Catalina helped us tell our story in a unique way. She understood what we stood for and produced it to perfection. We could not have done it with out her.

Her insight and commitment to excellence stood out in every one of our meetings and her bright and fresh ideas were well received. We are very proud of her work ."
