• Meeting my Role Models

    Thursday, November 11, 2010

In preparation for the ABC* business awards, I had the privilege to assist Felipe Ibarguen in the production of some intro videos for the awards ceremony. During the process I got to meet some of my role models such as Bill Drayton, CEO and founder of Ashoka and Linda Rotenberg, CEO and Co-founder of Endeavor.

Below is one of the videos that was produced.

I also had the privilege to meet one of the awardees, Dr. Naif Al-Mutawa, creator and co-writer of the 99, a popular Islamic-themed comic series. Below is his profile video for the awards ceremony. His story and mission are both very inspiring.

    Wednesday, June 30, 2010

Following great anticipation, Nuela Restaurant is opening its doors. The Latin American cuisine restaurant is located in Chelsea and features dishes from all over South America. I had the pleasure of working with Chef Adam Schop in the design of the menus; graphic design that is. Go check out the restaurant, the food is amazing!

  • The Courage Forum

    Thursday, May 06, 2010

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I have made some big changes in my life recently. One of those changes was to leave my position as partner in a business I had spend the last two years building. This I have to say was a very scary decision...a leap of faith...a gut instinct.

Following this decision I had the opportunity to assist a good friend of mine in the production of some videos for The Courage Forum in NYC. It couldn't have come at a better time....a time where I was in need of a lot of Courage.

My role in this was very small, however I got the opportunity to interact one on one with many of the speakers and I am very thankful for the experience, as it was the fuel I needed at the time to gather up the courage and continue following my dream.

Below is a video that sums up what the Forum was about...I hope it gives you the Courage to follow your dreams.

  • In the pursuit of living well by doing good

    Friday, April 16, 2010

I started this year by making some big changes in my life in order to pursue the dream of making a difference. I am fully committed to doing my part in making this world a better place.

I am aware that this is not an easy goal to take on. To be honest it was a bit daunting at first. How do you balance out doing good with living well? I don't have the answer quite yet, but I have had the privilege to talk to some people who have achieved this and who have inspired me to continue on this journey.

I believe this year will prove to be a wild adventure filled with very rewarding experiences that I hope to communicate to you throughout this website and blog. Do be warned, this is my first blog ever so bear with me.

I hope you will be inspired ;)
